CARNOT Simulation Game
GAME INFO
Carnot Game is an interactive game based on the Carnot cycle, in which the player must switch between three thermal sources (hot, insulating and cold) to maximize the work done on the piston of a cylinder. The goal is to keep the piston operating in the ideal Carnot cycle, making the source changes accurately to prevent the cylinder from exploding or freezing. The closer to the Carnot cycle, the higher the player's score and progress.
Target
The player must click the button to switch between the thermal sources in the system, remembering to keep the transitions at the right time to prevent the piston from locking up or the cylinder from exploding. The Carnot cycle is composed of four thermodynamic processes: Isothermal Expansion, Adiabatic Expansion, Isothermal Compression and Adiabatic Compression.
Features
Heat source switching: The game allows switching between hot source, cold source and insulator with a single button.
Scoring based on the Carnot cycle: The more accurate the player is when performing heat exchanges, the more work is generated and the higher the score.
Visual temperature effects: The particles show variations in color (red to blue) and speed, reflecting the temperature changes and the movement of the particles in the cylinder.
Visual effects of pressure: The piston vibrates as the internal pressure of the cylinder increases, which is influenced by collisions.
